We've arrived!

We arrived safe and sound last night in Togo after 24 hours of travel. We are praising God for the really good trip and for how smoothly it went with all our luggage, from check in and especially through customs in Togo where we experienced God’s favor on us exactly like we asked you to pray: not a single piece of our luggage was opened and nothing was charged, which is truly miraculous! We feel so loved and affirmed in that special gift from God (particularly after we had spent about an hour or more trying to deal with lack of a Covid QR code and a missing car seat – of all the pieces to miss, that one was definitely the easiest one and could well arrive soon). It was exciting for some of us to finally see our house in person. However, for our two oldest kids seeing it somehow made our move feel extremely real and they burst into tears when they saw it. We’d appreciate your prayers for their adjustment to their new lives and their grieving for the life they left behind. There is also much work to be done on the house, so we definitely covet your prayers for that, too.
